Sailing Ship “Cuauhtémoc” to Call on Mazatlán

ship trainingAccording to a press release issued by México’s Navy, the ARM Cuauhtémoc, the sailing ship and training vessel of the Mexican Navy, will call on the port of Mazatlán on November 9 and remain docked in the city until November 13.
The Fourth Naval District, which has its home in Mazatlán, invites the public to visit the Cuauhtémoc at the docks of the Port Authority, in the area of ??the ferry dock.
The ship will be available for touring this coming Sunday, Monday and Wednesday between the hours of 11:00 am and 10 pm and between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm on Tuesday. The Cuauhtémoc is scheduled to set sail on Thursday at 10:00 am.
The Cuauhtémoc is a teaching vessel from the Mexican Navy, where cadets are trained in international waters before graduating. It was built in Spain in 1982 and has since sailed around the world for over 30 years.
